Tours of exceptional private homes with distinguished
architecture are rare, so don't miss out on Modernist
Silver Lake 2000. Eight homes and apartments will
be open for docent-guided tours on Sunday, October 22,
including Rudolph Schindler's Droste house and Gregory
Ain's Orans house and his architectural offices. This
annual event sold out last year, so call early to reserve
tickets, and consider spending a little more to gain entry
into a special donors' reception the night before at the
landmark Silvertop home perched high above the area's
namesake reservoir. Call (213) 612-5271 for tickets and
information.
